 International Press Corps

About:

It is one’s inherent knowledge that journalism is the voice of people and the most powerful tenet in the contemporary world. Establishing public opinion as an authoritative critique. With its aftermath changing the course of history as we know it. Our vision of creating a journal that echoes the power of the press and at the same time enlightens society by providing them food for thought along with well-placed humor.

The corps believe a liberal reporter is someone who presents the world with the’ right’ facts and figures and trusts us when we say a think tank requires more research and the presence of mind when compared to an international delegate. The roots of true journalism are based on inquiry and research with a strong value of showing the world ‘both sides of the coin’. However, it also represents the perceptions of the different governments, vested interests and biases. In that committee, we hope to bring out these different pulls and pressures of the writing of the fourth estate. Some of the news agencies are mentioned below:

  1. The Hindu

  2. The Associated Press

  3. Reuters

  4. Xinhua News Agency

  5. Press Trust of India

  6. Islamic Republic News Agency

  7. Pakistan Press International

  8. Al Jazeera

  9. Saudi Press Agency

  10. Any other agency as the committee thinks relevant.

IPC committees are fun as reporters are expected to interview delegates, attend press conferences, brief committees on breaking news and impending crises, and, of course, write stories at each committee session. IPC reporters should have a passion for writing and be willing to put their curious and adventurous natures to use.
